Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the HayaQve” initiative, said in a Facebook post that he has appealed to Armenia’s Corruption Prevention Commission, calling for a case to be opened over an alleged breach of conduct rules by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Dear friends,

I would like to inform you that today I officially applied to the Corruption Prevention Commission of the Republic of Armenia, requesting that a case be initiated regarding a violation of the rules of conduct by a public official, namely RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who on April 17, speaking from the rostrum of the National Assembly, grossly insulted his political opponents and thousands of their supporters.

I am attaching the final page of the application and will persistently seek its proper consideration. If you also consider yourselves offended by Nikol Pashinyan’s harsh statements, you may submit a similar appeal to the same commission,” he wrote.
