Russia imposes restrictions on fish product shipments from Armenian company Texworld LLC

Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has imposed restrictions on shipments of fish products from the Armenian company Texuorld LLC.

The agency has appealed to Armenia’s competent authority with a request to suspend veterinary certification for the company’s products destined for Russian recipients.

A ban has also been introduced on the transit of the company’s goods through Russian territory. The decision is linked to efforts to curb a scheme involving the illegal import of fish from Armenia.
