Lusine Tovmasyan, Armenian model, TV host, and titleholder of “Miss Armenia 2003” and “Vice Miss Europe 2005,” announced on social media that she has decided to end her cooperation with the Public Television Company of Armenia.

“I am not going to become a tool in anyone’s hands.

I have decided to terminate my cooperation with the Public Television Company of Armenia and end my current contract.

The head of the TV company instructed that I be replaced by another host in a program whose first episode had already been filmed.

The reason was my interview with one of the world’s most renowned classical musicians, Lang Lang, who was invited to Armenia with state funding, as well as with Sergey Smbatyan, which was planned for publication on social media platforms.

I note that my employment contract contains no clause prohibiting this.
It is obvuous that this decision went beyond professional relations and was conditioned by personal considerations.

Thus, I am not going to become a tool in anyone’s hands to resolve other people’s personal issues.

I would also add that during our last meeting, Hovhannes Movsisyan personally pointed to this very reason,” Tovmasyan said.
