“Eight years ago, Armenia was seen at the negotiating table as de facto closely alligned with Russia”: Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron, speaking at the 8th European Political Community Summit, was quick to “praise” Nikol Pashinyan, stating that eight years ago no one would have come here.

“Eight years ago, no one would have come here. The fact that we have so many first visits to your country is a very good indicator. Because eight years ago, this country was seen at the negotiating table as de facto closely alligned with  Russia,” he said.
