In politics, especially during election campaigns, politicians sometimes allow themselves extremely harsh language. This was stated to Alpha News by Kostas Mavrides, a Member of the European Parliament from Cyprus.

“But I never expected the Prime Minister of Armenia to use such language and behave in such a way toward the Armenians of Artsakh who were forced to leave their homeland and sought refuge in Armenia,” Kostas Mavrides added.

Commenting on the situation in which the head of the Armenian government used extremely harsh and offensive language, the MEP noted that such rhetoric is unacceptable for a head of state.

“The words in the video I watched left me not merely disappointed, I was very angry,” he emphasized.
