The authorities are hiding the truth behind parades while our prisoners remain in Baku: Anna Grigoryan

Anna Grigoryan, a member of the Armenia bloc, stated during a campaign event in Goris that prime minister Nikol Pashinyan is making concessions at the expense of the people’s interests while hiding behind symbols and slogans. According to her, all of Pashinyan’s actions to date have served exclusively Azerbaijan’s benefit.

“Tomorrow a celebration has been announced in Armenia, they will hold a military parade. They want to show: look what an army we have. But residents of border villages see something entirely different, the Azerbaijani flag on our territory,” she noted.

Grigoryan stressed that the authorities are attempting to use the military parade to demonstrate the army’s strength, yet in reality part of the territory remains occupied, and no statements are being made about it.

“They claim they have strengthened the army, that they built it anew, but our citizens are still held captive in Azerbaijan. All of them must be returned. The state is obliged to protect its citizens through actions, not through hearts and maps pinned to its chest,” Anna Grigoryan stated.
