If Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that the country will “get rich” despite the deterioration of ties with Russia, let him deliver on it. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, stated this in a comment to “Vesti”.

Earlier, Pashinyan had said at a campaign event in the town of Garni that the country’s authorities were not concerned about rising raw material prices in the event of a further deterioration of ties with Russia, because they expected to get rich by turning the country into a “crossroads of the world.”

“I cannot comment on the statements of Armenia’s leader. If he believes it will get rich, let him deliver on it,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.
