Aliyev says the so-called “Zangezur Corridor” will definitely be built

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, speaking at the opening ceremony of the 31st Baku Energy Forum, stated that the so-called “Zangezur Corridor” will definitely be built, according to Azerbaijani media.

According to him, Azerbaijan is opening new transport corridors by investing in railway and road infrastructure.

“The Zangezur Corridor, which will become another branch of the East-West Corridor, will definitely be built in accordance with the document signed on August 8, 2025, at the White House between the President of the United States, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and myself,” he stated.
