Russia will not tolerate Armenia’s free-rider stance toward the EAEU: Russian Foreign Ministry

Russia will not tolerate the free-rider stance of Armenia’s authorities toward the Eurasian Economic Union, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing.

She noted that Armenia’s authorities have already attempted to convince citizens that the country can enjoy all the benefits of Eurasian integration while simultaneously preparing for EU membership.

“Such a free-rider stance toward the EAEU and toward our EAEU partners is something we do not intend to tolerate,” she said.
