Gevork Stepanyan, candidate from the “Prosperous Armenia” party, told journalists outside the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia that the CEC had given no clear answer to the PAP’s demand.
“They still have no final answer or data, but ‘Civil Contract’ already declared victory on the evening of June 8. They also told us they would include these figures in the count, 130 votes, even though we were short by 59–60 votes to enter the National Assembly. The annulment of votes at two polling stations is unlawful, and 2,600 residents are demanding a revote, as people were deprived of their right to vote. And all of this is being done to keep PAP out of parliament and to give ‘Civil Contract’ a constitutional majority,” he stated.
