A draft peace agreement between the US and Iran consists of 14 points, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported.

The document reads as follows:

  1. A permanent and immediate ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon.
  2. The US commits to non-interference in Iran’s internal affairs and to respecting Iran’s sovereignty.
  3. Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days.
  4. The US commits to withdrawing its troops from areas surrounding Iran.
  5. Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, subject to Iran’s consent.
  6. Suspension of sanctions on the sale of oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, and Iran’s full access to its financial assets.
  7. The United States and its allies to provide Iran with reconstruction plans worth no less than $300 billion.
  8. Negotiations to be held within 60 days to reach a final agreement on nuclear issues and the full lifting of US primary and secondary sanctions, as well as resolutions of the UN Security Council and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
  9. Iran reaffirms its commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and pledges not to produce nuclear weapons.
  10. The US commits to not increasing its troop presence in the region and to not imposing new sanctions.
  11. Unblocking of $24 billion in frozen Iranian funds during the 60-day final negotiation period. Half of this amount is to be provided to Iran before negotiations begin.
  12. Establishment of a monitoring mechanism for the implementation of the agreement.
  13. The final agreement will be endorsed by a UN Security Council resolution.
  14. Final negotiations will not begin until half of Iran’s frozen funds have been unblocked, sanctions on Iranian oil suspended, and the naval blockade lifted. The final agreement will cover exclusively the fate of enriched materials and uranium enrichment, sanctions relief, and Iran’s economic recovery programme. Discussions on Iran’s missile programme and support for resistance groups are definitively excluded from the agenda.
