Marta Kos to visit Armenia on July 5

Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, wrote on social media platform X that she will arrive in Armenia on July 5.

She announced this following a meeting with Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, who is participating in discussions in the format of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg.

According to her, on June 15, during the discussion in the format of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, EU member states will discuss continued support for Armenia as a demonstration of solidarity with the republic. “We will provide financial support and facilitate Armenia’s trade with its neighbours and Europe. I will travel to Yerevan on July 5 to advance concrete steps,” Kos wrote.
