Repression evident during elections: a poll in Ararat

Repression and threats during Armenia’s National Assembly elections were evident. Armenians should respect each other regardless of the election outcome. One resident of Ararat province expressed this view during a poll.

According to citizens who participated in the poll, the Civil Contract party would not have been re-elected without repression.

“People must be treated fairly. Who needs injustice?” one respondent emphasized.
