Detentions and arrests from early morning – opposition figures targeted

Ruben Hakobyan, a former member of the RA National Assembly, reported his detention. “I am being detained right now,” he wrote.

Ruslan Barseghyan, a candidate from the “Armenia” bloc, has been remanded in custody for two months.

Asatur Kocharyan, also a candidate from the “Armenia” bloc, has been placed under house arrest.
