Armenia bloc to file a motion with the Constitutional Court over Seda Safaryan’s participation in the election results challenge case

Armenia bloc will submit a motion to the Constitutional Court regarding the participation of Constitutional Court judge Seda Safaryan in the hearing of the election results challenge case.

The Constitutional Court confirmed Seda Safaryan’s participation through a procedural ruling, which is extremely strange, wrote Hovhannes Khudoyan, lawyer and representative of the “Armenia” bloc, on social media.

“The thing is, Safaryan was a candidate on the list of the ‘Babajanyan-Shirinyan’ bloc in the 2021 parliamentary elections, meaning she was a political ally of Arman Babajanyan, who is currently the applicant before the Constitutional Court,” the lawyer noted.
