One of the sensors triggered, landing carried out normally: Pobeda Airlines

The landing of the Pobeda Airlines aircraft operating the Gyumri–Moscow flight in Makhachkala was carried out normally. Passengers have been taken to the airport terminal, the airline told TASS.

“According to preliminary information, one of the sensors triggered on flight DP-856 (Gyumri–Moscow). The crew acted strictly in accordance with procedures, and the aircraft commander made the decision to land at the alternate aerodrome in Makhachkala. The landing was carried out normally, and the aircraft taxied to the stand under its own power,” the statement reads.

The airline added that passengers have been taken to the airport terminal, where they are going through passport control and collecting their baggage in the usual manner.

They will depart for the capital on a reserve aircraft at approximately 17:00 (Yerevan time), the company said.
