Avetik Chalabyan arrested for two months

The court has imposed a restraining measure on Avetik Chalabyan in the form of a two-month arrest, his lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan told journalists.

Earlier, the lawyer clarified that Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the “HayaQve” association and a public and political figure, is charged with preparing to obstruct the electoral rights of citizens (by a group of persons acting in prior conspiracy and with the use of official authority).
