The Constitutional Court continues to hear the consolidated case on opposition political forces’ appeals to invalidate the results of the June 7 National Assembly elections.

According to Aram Vardevanyan, lawyer and representative of the Strong Armenia party, proper oversight of the entire electoral process was not exercised, and the failure to implement the Administrative Court’s ruling on holding repeat elections is directly linked to election fraud.

The lawyer considers it an exposé that the CEC Chair stated at the Constitutional Court that he was personally informed of voting continuing at polling stations after 20:00.

“Who was responsible for the voting of military personnel? The competent state authorities of the Republic of Armenia. Who was responsible for the proper organization of the voting process at the polling station after 20:00? The Central Electoral Commission. A third exposé has taken place at the Constitutional Court: the CEC Chair was personally informed of the situation. By whom? By the person responsible for the polling station, who, incidentally, is a member of the Civil Contract party,” Vardevanyan stated.

Responding to a journalist’s question about how he would comment on the judge mistakenly referring to him as a representative of the Armenia bloc, Vardevanyan said: “Incidentally, Vahagn Hovakimyan is also confused with CC, as in 2021 he participated in an Investigative Committee session as a CC representative.
