Pashinyan is simply a gift for Aliyev: poll in Kotayk

A poll conducted in the Kotayk region revealed that the public is extremely concerned and dissatisfied with the policies of the current government, particularly regarding security issues and the rhetoric of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Residents of the region sharply criticized the authorities’ political course, emphasizing that the weakness of the country’s leader benefits only Azerbaijan, and that constant talk of and intimidation about war are negatively affecting people’s psychological state.

“For Aliyev, he’s simply a gift: a weakened leader, a weakened country,” one poll participant noted.

Respondents also commented on the claim that the re-election of the authorities guarantees peace, while their defeat could lead to a new war. They described this as an attempt to keep people afraid and manipulate them.

“With statements like these, they’re influencing people’s minds by instilling fear in them. If there’s going to be a war, it could happen regardless, it’s not dependent on who’s in charge,” one respondent noted.
