Ruben Vardanyan’s wife calls on international organizations to support delegation’s visit to Armenian prisoners in Baku

Veronika Zonabend, wife of Ruben Vardanyan, stated that, as part of preparations for an international women’s humanitarian delegation to Baku to visit Armenian prisoners, she has sent open letters to a number of international and state bodies. According to her, the involvement of these organizations could play a decisive role in organizing the visit and ensuring the safety of its participants.

Zonabend appealed to the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Ombudsperson of Azerbaijan, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The initiative aims to secure the opportunity to visit Armenian prisoners in Baku and to guarantee the delegation’s safety during the trip.
