Air temperature in Armenia to reach 37-39°C today and tomorrow: Gagik Surenyan

A fairly high heat background is forecast across Armenia today and tomorrow due to the penetration of warm tropical air masses from Iran and Iraq. This was reported by Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring.

In the Ararat Valley, Yerevan, and the valleys of Syunik, daytime temperatures are expected to reach 37-38°C, and in some lowland areas, 39°C.

Starting July 16, the air currents will change direction, and the air temperature will begin to drop.
