“We’ve found ourselves in a hopeless situation”: “Multi Group Stone” employees continue protest

One of the employees of “Multi Group Stone” taking part in the protest outside the company’s building told journalists that, at this point, there’s no one available to answer their questions or offer any kind of solution.

“If they’re closing the plant, let them tell us so we can go look for other work,” he said, adding that utility bills and loan payments already need to be paid, yet employees still haven’t received their wages.

“We’ve all found ourselves in a hopeless situation. Today is already the 17th, and it’s time to pay for utilities and loans on one hand, and rent on the other. My mother is disabled, and others have their own problems too. We should have received our wages long ago, but there’s still complete uncertainty. No one is answering our questions or offering any solutions… If they’re not closing the plant, then let them at least name a specific date, so we’ll have some hope,” the protest participant said.
