The Yerevan Civil Court of First Instance has ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by Colonel Karen Jalavyan (Kyokh) against pro-government blogger Roman Baghdasaryan.

The court ordered Baghdasaryan to publish a retraction on social media of his posts, which claimed that Jalavyan had allegedly stolen food from soldiers, deprived them of water, and mistreated them.

In addition, the blogger must pay 100,000 drams (approximately $200) in compensation for moral damages to the former commander of the legendary “Yekhnikner” unit.
