Khudatyan denies claims that Yerevan sees Iranian gas as alternative to Russian gas

Armenia and Iran have the opportunity to exchange and receive more electricity and gas, Davit Khudatyan, minister of territorial administration and infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, said in an interview with Azatutyun radio station.

He noted that an agreement has been reached with the Iranian side to establish a working group that will discuss all the details, including timelines. Khudatyan denied claims that Armenia is seeking alternatives to Russian gas through this step.
