Mirzoyan discusses TRIPP implementation with senior advisor to US special envoy

Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Aryeh Lightstone, Senior Advisor to the US Special Envoy for peace missions, the RA Foreign Ministry reports.

Konstantin Sokolov, Chairman of the Transcaspian Enterprises Fund, also attended the meeting. Both sides emphasized the significant achievements and progress made since the Washington peace summit on August 8, 2025. Having stressed the importance of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan for maximizing the region’s development potential, the interlocutors also discussed possible steps aimed at further strengthening the peace, the statement said.

Issues related to the development of regional connectivity and the realization of existing competitive advantages in this regard were also discussed. The work on implementing the TRIPP program was reviewed. Both sides emphasized their interest in the prompt implementation of the program on the ground. They exchanged views on the prospects for the most effective integration of Armenia into the international transport and infrastructure system.
