Any interference in the Church’s internal affairs is unacceptable: ARFD Bureau

The ARFD Bureau has issued a statement in support of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

“We condemn the authorities’ unlawful actions and support the Supreme Patriarch and the Armenian Apostolic Church.

We call on the judicial system to remain within the framework of constitutionalism and the laws of the Republic of Armenia and not to yield to the pressure of political intrigue.

Matters concerning diocesan administration, canon law, and internal procedures in general fall exclusively within the jurisdiction of the Church, and any interference is unacceptable,” the statement reads.
