Edgar Ghazaryan, an MP from the “Strong Armenia” faction, refused to apologize as demanded by “Civil Contract.”

During the parliamentary session, Ruben Rubinyan asked whether Ghazaryan and Narek Karapetyan had anything to say. Having received a negative answer, he remarked: “You chose this path yourselves.”

As a reminder, a tense situation arose yesterday in the National Assembly during a speech by Edgar Ghazaryan, a lawmaker from the “Strong Armenia” faction. He accused representatives of the ruling force of “vile speculation” on the topic of a relative who died in the 44-day war. These words provoked a sharp reaction from pro-government lawmakers and a heated exchange that nearly escalated into a fight. Hayk Konjoryan, Vice Speaker, warned about the inappropriate behavior and threatened to “throw out” Ghazaryan from the chamber.
