“ENA” supported hundreds of communities at the expense of profit: David Ghazinyan

David Ghazinyan, candidate for chairman of the National Assembly’s standing committee on territorial administration and environmental protection from the “Strong Armenia” faction, said that at the parliamentary session, the authorities, who have so far borne no responsibility for their actions, are supposedly discussing the question of the committee’s chairman, yet everyone is talking about everything except the topic itself.

Regarding the accusations against CJSC “Electric Networks of Armenia” (ENA), Ghazinyan stressed that, although he has not had the opportunity to visit “ENA” over the past year, he is nevertheless ready to prove that the company, using its profits, has supported hundreds of settlements that have no budget of their own.

“Ask the mayor of Yerevan and the regional governors how many cables have burned out in kindergartens and schools, and how we helped them. This was done using profits, since this property was not on our balance sheet, and we could not include it in the tariff,” the opposition deputy said.
