The chairmanship of the National Assembly is exceeding the powers granted to it under the law “On the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of RA.” Anna Grigoryan, head of the “Armenia” faction, said this to journalists in parliament.
According to her, it is unprecedented for the deputy speaker of the National Assembly to keep reserving the right to constantly make comments.
“They are not political commentators. Even during my own speech, the deputy speaker kept interrupting me and asking questions. If he wants to, he can give a speech that is out of order from the podium, rather than making comments after every speech, something he simply has no authority to do under the ‘Rules of Procedure’ law,” Grigoryan emphasized.
