The National Assembly of Armenia elects committee chairs

The National Assembly of Armenia has elected the chairpersons of its standing committees.

Candidates nominated by the “Strong Armenia” faction (Hayk Farmanyan, David Ghazinyan, and Arega Hovsepyan) were not elected as chairs of the National Assembly’s Financial-Credit and Budgetary Commission, the Commission on Territorial Administration and Environment, and the Commission on European Integration, respectively.

Lilit Galstyan, an MP from the “Armenia” bloc, was elected head of the Commission on Human Rights.
