“Due to lack of time, we were unable to present our candidates in greater depth”: Narek Karapetyan

Narek Karapetyan, head of the “Strong Armenia” faction, said that, in his view, their proposed candidates for the positions of chairpersons of the National Assembly’s standing committees were not elected due to a lack of time.

“We were unable to present to the public, in greater depth and comprehensively, who they are. For this reason, I state to our colleagues, both from the opposition and from the authorities, that we will make full use of all opportunities provided by speeches, statements, and questions,” the faction leader emphasized.

As a reminder, candidates nominated by the “Strong Armenia” faction (Hayk Farmanyan, David Ghazinyan, and Arega Hovsepyan) were not elected as chairs of the National Assembly’s Financial-Credit and Budgetary Commission, the Commission on Territorial Administration and Environment, and the Commission on European Integration, respectively.
