The “Strong Armenia” faction has nominated its MP Liana Manukyan for the position of chairperson of the National Assembly’s Standing Financial-Credit and Budgetary Commission. This was announced in parliament by Narek Karapetyan, head of the faction.

According to Hayk Farmanyan, an MP from the faction, if Manukyan is elected, the opposition team will support her with its full potential so that she can focus on key issues around the clock.

“The main goal of the commission is to ensure transparency in budget spending, so that the public is clearly informed about where state funds are being directed,” Farmanyan noted.
