A child asks why they came to our home: lawyer on the reaction of Levon Kocharyan’s children

The search at the home of Levon Kocharyan, MP of the “Armenia” faction, has concluded. Lawyer Tatevik Soghoyan shared details of the search, describing how the children reacted to what was happening.

“Robert Kocharyan Jr. opened the door and asked what these people were doing there. The children are confused. From a legal standpoint, the presence of the NSS ‘Alpha’ unit here is in no way justified. Even the youngest child came up to me and said: ‘I know that members of units like this are supposed to go after terrorists, armed people, why did they come to our home?’

The body conducting the proceedings says they weren’t involved in these actions, but the presence of masked men has a negative effect on the children, the neighbors, and everyone else,” the lawyer noted.
