Prosecutor’s office lies every day: Gegham Manukyan

Gegham Manukyan, a deputy from the Armenia faction, addressed the activities of the Prosecutor General’s Office while speaking with journalists ahead of a court session in the case of Robert Kocharyan, Armenia’s second President, stressing that the agency commits unlawful acts every day.

“I see the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office firsthand. The Prosecutor General came and made a statement from the podium of the National Assembly about our colleague, Artur Sargsyan. She said something, and she lied. The Prosecutor’s Office lies every day,” Manukyan said.

According to him, the political dimension in the actions of the law enforcement system takes priority.

“One day Nikol Pashinyan will leave, and these law enforcement officials will either face the law or try to repent,” he said.
