Pashinyan and Pezeshkian stress importance of ensuring peace in the region

Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, met with Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

Pashinyan noted that Armenian-Iranian cooperation is developing successfully, with joint programs being implemented in various fields.

The two leaders touched on bilateral trade and economic relations and steps aimed at expanding them.

The sides stressed the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
