Pashinyan’s slogans displayed in Ijevan schools: media

In recent years, secondary schools have been displaying “Study well to live well,” a favorite slogan of Nikol Pashinyan, the prime minister, the newspaper Hraparak reports.

“The quote ‘To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding,’ which Mesrop Mashtots wrote after creating the Armenian alphabet, used to be displayed. Students once studied to understand wisdom and grasp the meaning of life, but now they study to live well.

Pashinyan’s slogan has also been put up in Ijevan schools. We asked the Tavush governor on whose instructions, and under which provision of the law, the inscription ‘Study well to live well’ was displayed on the walls of general education schools subordinate to the governor’s office.

This is the answer we received: ‘The inscription “Study well to live well” is displayed on the walls of general education schools in the Tavush region, in newly built or renovated schools, on the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (MESCS),'” the newspaper writes.
