“If my mother visits my brother in prison, will the case fall apart?”: Levon Kocharyan

Only the wife and children of Sedrak Kocharyan, son of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan, may visit him in prison. His mother, brother and sister may not, Levon Kocharyan, MP from the “Armenia” faction, said at a press conference.

“What is the purpose of this? What is the point? If my mother or sister go to Sedrak, will the case fall apart? Pashinyan seems to think that by putting the son in prison he will increase pressure on Robert Kocharyan and achieve some result, but he is mistaken. We are all ready for this persecution, we know what we are fighting for,” Kocharyan said.
