“We won’t let him hang up the shirt”: video released in Argentina dedicated to Messi’s retirement

A touching video was presented in Argentina ahead of Lionel Messi’s upcoming farewell match. The video is built around a metaphorical scene: residents of a city come together and do everything they can to take down a giant shirt with the number 10 hung on the facade of a high-rise building.

The people refuse to let their idol go, and the key message of the video is a gentle appeal to fans: “As long as you keep wearing his shirt, he won’t be able to hang it on a nail.”
