Gevorg Manukyan, a judge, reprimanded for recusing himself from Arshak Srbazan’s case

Gevorg Manukyan, a judge of the Armavir Province Court of General Jurisdiction, has been reprimanded for recusing himself from the case of Arshak Khachatryan, an archbishop. The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) granted the motion of the Minister of Justice of Armenia to bring disciplinary proceedings against Manukyan and issued him a reprimand.

The Ministry of Justice had launched disciplinary proceedings against Gevorg Manukyan, a judge of the Armavir Province Court of General Jurisdiction, based on a report from the Prosecutor General of Armenia.
