European Union of Jewish students expresses solidarity with Armenians of Artsakh

The European Union of Jewish students has sent an open letter to the leadership of the Conference of European Rabbis, demanding not to hold a conference in Baku.

“We must express our unwavering solidarity with ethnic Armenians who are currently suffering from bombings, forced displacement and the devastating effects of armed conflict. The pain and suffering of any community resonates deeply with us as members of the Jewish diaspora who have historical experience and understanding of persecution and forced displacement.

In the conditions of violations of human rights, crimes against humanity, and aggression, the Union proposed not to organize the event of leaders of Jewish communities in Baku and move it to another place,” the letter reads.
