Students of Gavar Music School win top prizes at international competition

Students of the Henrik Talalyan Music School in Gavar became prize winners of the International Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The municipality of Gavar reported that duduk player Alen Hakobyan (teacher Karen Sirakanyan), pianist Norik Melkonyan (teacher Tamara Dashtoyan), pianist Milena Sirakanyan (teacher Anush Zakharyan), vocalist Anna Sirakanyan (teacher Anna Grtsaryan) were awarded with the Grand Prix prize, while Milena Sirakanyan (teacher Anna Grtsaryan) won in the vocal category.

“These awards, which have made our city known internationally, show that the Henrik Talalyan School of Gavar is doing purposeful and effective work in ensuring high-quality education of the younger generation. We are proud of our talented teachers and students,” the Gavar municipality noted.
