How did the Armenian flag end up in Adele’s hands?

Famous British singer Adele continues her concert tour. After the performance in Las Vegas, a video was spread online in which the singer communicated with the audience, holding an Armenian tricolor in her hands.

According to BRAVO.am, it turned out that the Armenian flag was handed to her by an Armenian fan, Tigran Altunyan. The singer was somewhat surprised but accepted the gift.

Altunyan, who lives in Los Angeles and studies at an insurance company as well as works in a fast food chain, spoke about the reasons for choosing such a gift.

“I bought a ticket four months before the concert. I followed Adele’s performances online and noticed that people give her gifts, which she accepts with love. After much thought, I decided to take the flag to the concert and give it to her—to remind her of our country once again. When she came up to me, I gave her the flag and told her that I loved her very much. I knew that many people around the world are watching her concerts and they will certainly pay attention to our tricolor. I specially chose it with the bright apricot color so that it would not be confused with the Colombian flag,” Altunyan said.
