France has data on current state of historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh

France has funded the ALIPH Foundation, which deals with the preservation of cultural and historical values, to collect data on the current state of the historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh, French Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak said at a joint press conference with Zhanna Andreasyan.

“Thanks to the funding allocated by France, ALIPH was able to identify the monuments remaining in Artsakh from satellite images. The database already exists. We have images of the current state of the monuments preserved in Artsakh at our disposal. In other words, the distorted state of historical and cultural samples,” the French Minister said.

According to Abdul Malak, France is cooperating with UNESCO and European countries to find a solution to this issue.
