Ripsime unveils new single about her experience of war

British-Armenian singer, independent alt-pop songwriter, and producer Ripsime released her latest single, ‘Wicked & Wise’, the third track of her latest EP called ‘Capsule I: Wicked and Wise.’

The project was recorded during a period of deep self-reflection when she was in Armenia.
Ripsime self-recorded the new songs about places she may no longer be able to return to because of Azerbaijan’s aggression against Artsakh, resulting in the mass exodus of Artsakh people from their historic homeland.

Lead single ‘Wicked & Wise’ embodies a dark and brooding brand of Elder Island-esque electronic pop.
