Azerbaijani MFA: Borrell’s accusations threaten Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

Borrell’s accusations “pose a threat to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan”, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan said in a statement, Azerbaijani media report.

“The statements of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, made after the session of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, deliberately distort the facts. The accusations of the EU official, who has not taken any steps to encourage Armenia to act in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, pose a threat to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry added.
