ICRC team visits former Artsakh officials arrested by Azerbaijan

In November, the team of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) once again visited former Artsakh officials held in prison in Baku, a spokesperson from the Azerbaijani ICRC office, Ilaha Huseynova, reported.

It is reported that the meetings were individual, and conditions were created for them to contact their families.

“During such visits, the ICRC, in accordance with its mandate, assesses the attitude towards the arrested persons and the condition of their detention. The ICRC also promotes the frequency of contacts between these individuals and their families. In accordance with the ICRC procedures, visits are conducted only with a prisoner.”
