Inter Milan to extend contract with Mkhitaryan for one year

Inter Milan FC is concluding negotiations with the former captain of the Armenian national team, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, on a new contract, Italian journalist Nicolò Schira reports.

It is expected that the sides will extend the contract until June 2025 by the end of this year.

Mkhitaryan will turn 35 on January 21. His current contract with the Italian team led by Simone Inzaghi runs till the end of this season.

Mkhitaryan moved from Italian Roma to Inter Milan in the summer of 2022.
