Humanitarian aid collected for forcibly displaced residents of Artsakh within the framework of the “From Heart to Heart” project of Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights, Tatyana Moskalkova, was sent from Moscow to Armenia, TASS reports.

“Humanitarian aid for those people who ended up in a tough situation after arriving from Nagorno-Karabakh to Gyumri and Yerevan. These are bed linen, mattresses, hygiene kits for children, some appliances, canned food and folding beds. I think it will all come in handy,” Moskalkova said.

She added that she is in touch with the Human Rights Commissioners of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the issue of assistance to a specific group of people. In addition, Moskalkova expressed her willingness to help organize New Year’s events for children from Artsakh if they come to Russia.

“Because human rights and the mission of mercy are inextricably linked concepts,” she added.
