Soldier killed in Azerbaijani shooting in Vayots Dzor

On December 4, at around 02:35 p.m., the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Armenian positions in Bardzruni, Vayots Dzor region, the Armenian Defense Ministry reports.

As a result, a soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces, Gerasim Arakelyan, sustained a fatal gunshot wound.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
