Two Armenian startups ranked as most trending AI apps by Apple

Apple announced the winners of the 2023 App Store Awards, declaring Generative AI its “trend of the year.”

Armenian apps Picsart (photo and video editor) and Sololearn (learning programming languages) have been included on the list, along with Chat GPT and Pinterest.

“A number of tools in Picsart allow you to remove the background or unwanted objects with incredible precision, create animated GIFs and stickers, and in Sololearn, the AI instructor Kodie can spot mistakes in your code and provide hints when you’re stuck,” the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia reports, citing Apple.

The App Store’s top AI apps also included Canva, Craft, Artifact, and SmartDreams.
